Day 22 - To Angouleme
21st April 2018
After a fantastic rest day it was time to get pedaling again, albeit 2kg heavier than on arrival at Le Perroquet, Very warm and sunny with a smattering of hills. Around 30 degrees on arrival. Tonight we are in a camper stop outside a leafy village on the outskirts of Angouleme.

A good day for singing on the bike, today's favourite being Tumbling Dice which added a good 2 mph to my pace.
Very good pace Martin. That rest day must have re-energised you. Peter
ReplyDeleteI'm feeling fine Peter so long as I don't ask my legs to do too much.
DeleteThat's the first time I've managed to post on your blog - I'll stop using Strava now. Peter Bolt
ReplyDeleteExcellent! Sorry it's so clunky.
DeleteStill think a bit of Sasha Distell or Edith Piaf would be appropriate as you are in France! 'Non je ne regret riens ' would be grand as you cycle up a mountain
ReplyDeleteRaindrops keep falling on my head just doesn't appeal. I am, however, saving Abba for Sweden.
DeleteSend B&F on line I hope
ReplyDeleteIs that you Bob?
