Day 60 - Body clock in turmoil!
29th May 2018
A rest day today. We hadn't really planned to stay more than a night at Offersoy Camping but it isn't the sort of place you can easily tear yourself away from, especially given our long day yesterday.

Despite appreciating that the sun hardly sets at the end of May at 66 degrees of latitude, the bits of our brain controlling our biorhythms haven't clocked on. It is weird going to bed whilst the sun is still shining. Last night I couldn't sleep so, at a quarter past midnight, I had a look out of the window to see this...
Then looked out this morning to this...
So, the weather is on the change although a bit more sunshine left for this week apparently.
Whilst in Trondheim we met a lovely couple from Aberdeen, Laurence (apologies if wrong spelling) and Sandra, who are travelling up Norway in a camper van. We met up again yesterday and enjoyed a pleasant couple of hours in their immaculate van whilst I drank Laurence's beer.
The rest day has been spent route planning, reading, knitting, washing, fettling and generally sitting with our feet up.
More Kysrtriksveiening tomorrow.
Rest day we'll we'll . Fingers crossed the weather turns nice again!
