Day 68 - Off Lofoten. Is it going to snow?
6th June 2018
Having travelled 200miles from Moskenes we are now off Lofoten, about 10 miles north east of Narvik and about to join the infamous E6 (now much shrunken from it's motorway days of Sweden and Southern Norway). We had a good night at Lodingen where we met Nick and Sally who are now heading home from Nordkapp having travelled there from Tarifa in their motorhome. Gave us lots of good info about Nordkapp and road conditions.

Today we enjoyed a fjordside journey with only a light breeze and an occassional shower. Lovely! Still cold though.
Another five star cafe stop en route with Ivan and Mrs B...
Tonight we are in the car park of the "Small Boat Club". Nice spot when we arrived but the cloud and rain have now closed in.
There's a lot of rain around and the temperature over night (i.e when the sun is a bit lower in the sky), are dropping close to freezing. Tomorrow we have a 450m high pass to travel over so we are gathering all the info we can regarding road conditions and warnings. Hopefully OK tomorrow if we set off a bit later than usual.
