Day 70 - More mountains and the Lyngen Fjord
8th June 2018
Today we had a 48 mile interlude away from the E6, travelling along the very quiet but very bumpy RV87. More lakes, mountains, tumbling rivers and rain showers.

On arriving back at the E6 we soon came to the upper reaches of the Lyngen Fjord. Across the water are some of Norway's most spectacular mountains, the Lyngen Alps. This evening the clouds have lifted and, from our campsite in Skibotn, we have a view of some of the mountain tops. We are looking forward to travelling along this fjord on Sunday, after another rest day.
That detour looks like the main roads around Gloucester :)
ReplyDeleteWell done for keeping going in the cold/rain/snow :)

Thanks Kevin. I keep plodding along!
